Mugie Drought Fundraising Campaign

07 Apr 2017

Laikipia and Northern Kenya have been experiencing drought condition for the last few months. One of the hardest hit animals has been the buffalo. Previously, renowned for being a robust population on Mugie, with some of the most beautiful beasts, and most impressive horn spans, in Northern Kenya. Now many buffalo are dying from starvation as they compete for dry and sparse grazing with cattle and game animals.

We, at Mugie, have been doing our best, feeding as many buffalo, impala, gazelle, oryx, hartebeest, and zebra, as we can with hay, pellets, and mineral salt, but we must to do more and need your help.

We invite you to join us to support and conserve these precious animals.

A contribution of just KSh 390 ($4) buys one bale of hay, which will feed one buffalo for one day.
