Ekorian’s dedicated team is the heart and soul of the camp, infusing it with true Kenyan hospitality and their passion for wildlife. Many of the team members have been part of Ekorian since its earliest days, helping to dig foundations and set up the tents. Over the years, they have received specialized training and grown into leadership roles based on their interests and skills.

Our camp manager, George, joined Ekorian in 2013 as head guide. In 2021, he was promoted to his current role. George brings a wealth of local knowledge and a deep connection to Laikipia, where he grew up alongside Josh’s family. George meticulously tends to every guest, ensuring their comfort and enriching their experience with his profound passion and expertise in Laikipia’s wildlife, birdlife, and natural wonders. Under George’s leadership, our team has transformed Ekorian into a welcoming sanctuary where guests can experience the magic of the wild Laikipia plains.
